The Appearance & Formats section contains the settings defining the appearance of data in reports.

Report theme — allows you to select one of the default color schemes. Available options: Windows, Blue/WinXP, Silver/WinXP, Olive/WinXP.

 

Traffic information format — specify the format of numerical data. Possible options include: Bytes — show numerical values in bytes. Bytes, Kilobytes, Megabytes — numerical values under 1 kilobyte are shown in bytes; numerical values between 1 kilobyte and 1 megabyte are shown in kilobytes; numerical values equal to or exceeding one megabyte are displayed in megabytes.

 

Bytes in KByte — this setting allows you to specify the number of bytes in kilobytes used for calculations. Possible values: 1000 and 1024.

 

Show report contents as tree — determines the way the table of report contents is displayed – as a tree on the left side of the window or at the beginning of the report, as in version 2.x.

 

Export to Microsoft Excel — manage the way numerical values are displayed in reports: use general settings (the result can contain both numbers and the names of units of measurement – for instance, kilobytes) or use numbers only (allows you to continue working with the data using Excel formulas).

 

Default report options — determines the default options for the Report Wizard.

 

Enable user realname substitution — select this option if you want the user substitution features to be enabled by default. Users’ real names can be defined in the User properties editor.

 

Enable client IP address aliasing — select this option if you want the IP substitution feature to be enabled by default.

 

Only working time — select this option if you want the Only working time option on the time range selection stage of the Report Wizard to be enabled by default. The working time range is set in corresponding fields.

 

Lunch time from — select this option if you want the Ignore lunch time option on the time range selection stage of the Report Wizard to be enabled by default. The limits of the lunch break interval are set in corresponding fields. This option is available only if the previous one is enabled.

 

Print page number — enable this option if you want page numbers to be printed on each page. This option is disabled by default.

 

Print table background — enable this option to print table backgrounds. This option is disabled by default.
